About
I am a Data Scientist at Betclic โน๏ธ, where I specialize in building machine learning detection models mainly for safer gaming (risk of gambling addiction) ๐ฐ and anti-money laundering ๐ธ behavior (currently certified CAMS). My educational background is in applied mathematics ๐งฎ, with a Master’s degree ๐ that focused on optimization ๐, operations research ๐, and machine learning ๐ค. I studied at both Bordeaux and Toulon universities in France ๐ซ๐ท, where my studies included a mix of pure and applied maths โ, economics ๐ฐ, and computer science ๐ฅ๏ธ. In 2015, I became passionate about data science during an internship at Idaia Group, where I participated in a natural language processing ๐๏ธ competition on datascience.net ๐ป.
Programming is a passion of mine, and I actively participate in open-source projects โ๏ธ. I’m proud to have earned the Kaggle competitions Expert trophy ๐ and enjoy competitive data science. On my free time, you can find me surfing ๐โโ๏ธ, soldering things ๐จโ๐ญ, motorcycling ๐๏ธ and reviewing restaurants in Bordeaux ๐ฝ๏ธ.
