About

I am a Data Scientist at Betclic โ›น๏ธ, where I specialize in building machine learning detection models mainly for safer gaming (risk of gambling addiction) ๐ŸŽฐ and anti-money laundering ๐Ÿ’ธ behavior (currently certified CAMS). Previously, I worked for Cdiscount, a French ๐Ÿ“ e-commerce company ๐Ÿ›’, focusing mainly on search engine relevancy ๐Ÿ”.

My educational background is in applied mathematics ๐Ÿงฎ, with a Master’s degree ๐ŸŽ“ that focused on optimization ๐Ÿ“ˆ, operations research ๐Ÿ“Š, and machine learning ๐Ÿค–. I studied at both Bordeaux and Toulon universities in France ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท, where my studies included a mix of pure and applied maths โž•, economics ๐Ÿ’ฐ, and computer science ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ. In 2015, I became passionate about data science during an internship at Idaia Group, where I participated in a natural language processing ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ competition on datascience.net ๐Ÿ’ป.

Programming is a passion of mine, and I actively participate in open-source projects โš™๏ธ. I’m proud to have earned the Kaggle competitions Expert trophy ๐Ÿ† and enjoy competitive data science. I also like helping my peers on Stackoverflow ๐Ÿค and teaching AI & Ethics ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ at Kedge Business School and Python programming initiation ๐Ÿ at INSEEC Bordeaux.

On my free time, you can find me surfing ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธ, soldering things ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿญ, motorcycling ๐Ÿ๏ธ and reviewing restaurants in Bordeaux ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ.
